Incident at work in the evening with a disgruntled customer
Here is a text dialog between Miranda and her dad:
Miranda: Someone is calling me a stealler… I didn’t steal a customer’s stupid bag.
They got mad at me for it… It’s on camera.
I told them I put it in their bag and they’re getting mad at me.
The customer uses profanity at Miranda.
Dad: It’s an attack of the enemy. Using them to attack you like that.
Now he wants you hurt, mad and upset.
Miranda: I already have a headache and my stomach feels like it got punched.
Dad: It’s an outright attack. You will need to forgive them. Tell God you forgive them and let God take care of them. Let the arrow bounce off, sweetheart.
Don’t let it sink in cuz the spirits will aggravate you for hours.
Did God see you do something wrong? Did you do something wrong in front of God?
If not… then relax and forgive them and all will be alright.
Dad: You can dislike demons, evil spirits, cuz they put people against one another and they laugh hideously as people fight and some people even kill others. They want you to hate back. You all are puppets for their amusement. Fight back with love and gentle kindness.
Ask God to help you to love them with His love. His great love.
Dad: The arrows drop off as soon as you forgive them. Or else they can fester and scar you.
It’s the demons egging them on to attack you like that.
They want to see how you will react. Show them and God that you to choose to forgive them and love them anyway. Just respond with kindness and gentle self-control.
Dad: Let the Holy Spirit take control. Be in the Spirit more than in the flesh. Your flesh wants to dislike those people but your spirit along with the Holy Spirit can love them. Ask Jesus that you want to see people through His eyes.
Dad: Sorry the evil spirits pitted that person against you tonight. This is the opportunity to let your light shine. Not operate in the flesh but in the Spirit. Even out there in a crazy world.
The enemy wants to rob you of your peace of mind tonight. Don’t give him the privilege of doing that.
Dad: Forgive them and no complaining and being upset. Give it to Jesus and get back into the peace you had before the other happened.
Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Miranda: As soon as u talk about forgiveness… the guy came in and apologized to me.
Dad: Yay! *hug* God dealt with him.
